We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Audio Visual Technician Executive to work within the client services team to provide audio visual and IT support to client meetings and events. Alongside being pro-active and reactive support, this role forms the primary tier of escalation for troubleshooting, resolving and further escalation to on or off-site technical support teams. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys Audio-Visual with an element of interaction with clients. This position is to work on behalf of an international law firm in central London. The shifts are rotational basis 7:30 am - 7:30 pm, 37.5 hours per week an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working to the needs of the client and facilities teams, providing a high quality, reactive and pro-active audio-visual support to all client and internal rooms
  • Manage meeting room provisions and furniture inventory
  • Liaising with specialist IT equipment suppliers to report faults and resolve issues
  • Setting up conference room equipment as required, to include; Laptops, Screens, projectors, conference phones, video conferences, and troubleshooting issues
  • Display high levels of customer service and professionalism to resolve any IT/technical issues from clients and visitors to the conference rooms
  • Manage workload using Manhattan
  • Liaise with hosts to obtain presentation details in advance of meetings
  • Ensure that IT equipment is tested and in good working order prior to and on installation into the conference rooms
  • Ensuring a 5-star service environment is provided for client and visitors

Preferred Requirements 

  • Audio Visual /IT experience within a customer service environment
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot IT and audio-visual equipment
  • Knowledge of digital video editing software and publication
  • Highly service focussed with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise the work of self and others
  • The ability to listen, question and interpret information to understand requirements
  • Ability to suggest and deliver creative/innovative solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills including working on your own initiative, flexible to work with a range of styles and personalities
  • IT and Audio Visual Literate
  • Good understanding of Skype for business, Crestron Touch including control panels and Polycom phones systems

  • Hours 37.5 per week
