Elton Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Engineering Technician. This is an amazing opportunity to join a market leading global company. You will report to the Senior Product Engineer and have a central role within the team and will be part of a growing team and together you will be launching a new product. The team will interact with a large variety of the organization; marketing, sales, procurement, and operations. This new product will be used on a large variety of machines at a large variety of customers around the globe.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable, professional test set-ups (including fixturing, plumbing,  control systems, instrumentation)

  • Procure, build, assemble, and test associated hydraulic units & components including microcontrollers and ancillary electronics & software

  • Troubleshoot & repair test stand and hydraulic unit and control systems

  • Performance, endurance, and vehicle testing methods

  • Complete testing to include all necessary data acquisition & hardware inspection

  • Document and report results of tests to Engineering

Essential Skills

  • AA degree or equivalent from Technical School

  • 2- 3 years of related experience within either Engineering / Mechanics

  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics

  • PLUS+1 programming experience is a plus

  • Familiarity with TPM and SMED technique
